Has anyone else noticed the pair of magnificent birds of prey wheeling high in the air, with their forked tail, above Harden and out over the open pasture toward Cullingworth?

The Red Kites have arrived!

These beautiful birds were almost wiped out in the UK but fortunately a few breeding pairs survived in Wales.

The birds have been successfully reintroduced into England and Scotland.

As their range increases the population is beginning to recover.

Brilliant!
